Nintendo Switch: Presentation Reaction, Launch Date, Price and Games

Welcome guys thanks for coming and checkingout my video I appreciate it.

So, (sigh) the Nintendo Switch Presentation is over and ifyou didn’t watch it don’t, because in my opinion it was boring.

If you want to seethe games look at the individual trailers on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.

I was expectingmore from Nintendo and to me they didn’t deliver.

They talked about the Nintendo Switchand couple of games.

A few new third party games were revealed but no release dates.

So, the low down is this the Nintendo Switch will have a MSRP of $299.

99 when it launchesworldwide on March 3rd 2017.

There is going to be no more region locking which surprisethe crap out of me because Nintendo is a stickler when it came to region locking.

So now youcan import games from Japan and not have to have a separate japan system which is good.

Apparently, Nintendo Switch was built on the aspects of all their handhelds and consoles.

I can see where they were going with that.

There are different modes you canplay with the Switch; which Nintendo is calling play styles.

There is Tv mode, it’s justhaving the system docked and playing off your tv.

Table top mode is when you pull out thestand from the Switch and take the joy cons off and play like that by yourself or witha friend.

And handheld mode which is holding the Switch like a Wii U game pad to take itanywhere.

The battery life is anywhere between 2 ½ – 6 ½ hours depending on the game.

TheSwitch charges with a USB type c cable and can charge while playing.

Each joy con isa fully functional controller with motion sensors and full button layout.

Each joy conhas what Nintendo is calling HD Rumble, which was one of the coolest things I’ve seenin a while.

The demonstration of how you can shake one joy con as if it was a glass withice and feel and hear feedback from the controller and then you can tell if ice is dropped intothe glass.

I hope it works just as good as the Demo did.

The Nintendo Switch is goingto come in 2 different Skus.

One sku has the regular gray joy cons and the other has neonred and blue joy cons.

What is going to come in the box is The Nintendo Switch, the Nintendoswitch Dock, a Left and Right Joy Con, a joy con Grip, 2 Joy con Wrist straps, an HDMICable, and an AC Power adapter.

Now I know they said that they took aspect of all theirconsoles but I didn’t think they would actually take the AC adapter from the NES.

Good Greiflook how big that plug is.

I hope it’s just the look of it and it is not as big as itlooks.

Nintendo is going the paid online service route this time which lets you can play withfriends and Chat but will not take effect until fall 2017.

There were a few games thatwere Reveled: 1 2 switch, Legend of Zelda breath of the wild, Xenoblade chronicles 2,Project ocatopath traveler not really talked about, Skyrim, Splatoon 2(has new weaponsand areas.

The Dual wielding weapon Splat dually looks really cool), ARMS which is aboxing game that has a good look to it with the character having slinky arms, but lookslike it’ll get old for me really quick.

Super Mario Odyssey looks freaking awesome.

It’s a sandbox Mario game and the art direction look awesome.

It’s more like a Super Mario64 or Mario sunshine sandbox but with a deferent look.

Fire emblem warriors, Dragon quest xand DQ 11 in japan the exclusion of region locking makes importing these games easiergranted if you can read Japanese or tolerate not knowing what the hell is going on.

DQheroes 1 and 2 are coming to the USA.

Best buy right now has a list of game ready forpre-order, but out of all the game I named only 2 are launch titles: 1 2 switch and Legendof Zelda breath of the wild I do not know if they are going to be more not yet announcedbut that’s disappointing.

But in the Treehouse live event they went in depth on a few gamesthat were either revealed or hinted in trailers during the presentation.

Nintendo went indepth on ARMS, Splatoon 2 (all new specials none of the specials from the previous gameare in this game.

The old weapons are tweet and have new features to them.

And you canroll which is cool it makes the game more intuitive and tactical.

), Super BombermanR, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (is a definitive edition and you can carry 2 weapons like in Mariocart double dash, Fire Emblem Warriors wasn’t showed but there is going to be a Nintendodirect on it jan 18 at 2pm PST, SnipperClips is a new IP puzzle game, Has-Been Heroes,The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, 1-2 Switch, and one of my most favorite arcade fighter Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.

The street fight game is the regular back in the day quarter swallower it looks thesame has all the same characters.

But you can also switch the look of it to make the graphics look more like a moderngame rather a snes clone.

In this mode the characters look more vibrant and the art.
