How to make CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BARS | Brownie Bakes It

Hey guys! Today I'm going to show you howto make one of my absolute favorite desserts, and one of the easiest dessertsto make: Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars.

Not only this desert really great for agroup, like a group of kids, at a school bake sale.

(keep in mind this is back-to-schoolmonth) but it's also the perfect dessert if you just want to make somethingreally quick to eat while you're watching Netflix.

As they are right nowthey're probably not the most school friendly because there is peanut butterin them so depending on what your rules are at school – I really don't know howthis thing works because I don't have kids – but depending on whether or not youcan take peanut butter to your school you can substitute with almond butter ifyou need to.

Because these are so easy to make I usually make them on a weekend day andon weekends, I wear sweatshirts which is what i'mdoing right now.

This is brian's big sweatshirt.

It's cozy.

I'm ready to bake.

So roll up yoursleeves and let's get started! So first we're going to take half a cup of butterand we're going to melt it, like so.

Pour it into the bowl Our confectioners' sugar.

Confectioners' sugar always goeseverywhere! Is that just me who has that problem? And our peanut butter which you cansubstitute with almond butter, if you so choose to make it allergy-friendly.

I prefer to scoop mypeanut butter up with a spoon because you can get more but you can also use a knife if you wantto do that instead.

Peanut butter is one of my favorite things to use when bakingbut it's one of the most difficult things to measure out because it's sosticky! Mix all those together.

This is my favorite recipe to make on alazy sunday when I really want a sweet treat but I don't want to spend a lot oftime making it.

And who are we kidding it's not only on a Sunday – it's on mostevenings! Nice even dough there.

Very good.

So now we're going to take our pan andbecause there's butter and peanut butter in here we do not have to grease the panwhich is awesome – saves on time.

We're just going to spread this into the pan.

I haven't made this with natural peanutbutter before but i think it would work out pretty well.

If you try it, let meknow in the comments how it works for you.

And lastly, one cup of chocolate chips – you can make it a heaping cup! Just throw this in the microwave until everything's melted – I do it in 20-secondincrements for about a minute usually and then stir it together.

And we're justgoing to take our base and we're going to pour the chocolate on top.

Make sure that the top layer is even.

Andnow we'll just throw this in the refrigerator for about an hour or youcan put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Let's do that instead! As you can see, super easy to put together.

It smells delicious It looks really good, let's dig in.

Look at that: perfect ratio of peanutbutter base to chocolate topping the best.

the best! My favorite shows to binge watchright now would have to be everyone else's favorite right now, it'sStranger Things Amazing! I'm personally not a fan ofhorror movies or sci-fi really – I mean now that I'm dating a sci-fi personI've seen a lot of those types of movies so I've learned to appreciate them buttypically not my style Stranger Things – give it a shot even ifyou don't like those two things.

The storytelling is amazing, the acting is amazing – it's just a greatshow.

Parks and Recreation: gem.

And an underappreciated show that I thinkeveryone would love: the Americans! If you don't know what I'm talking about look it up, you will love it.

I promise.

And if you don't you can just hate commentbelow.

So i'm going to take the rest of this and, let's face it, the rest ofthis pan, and I'm going to go binge watch some TV.

If you have some good shows youthink that I would like based on the shows but I just listed off to you let meknow in the comments! I'm always looking for something new.

I hope you enjoyed thisquick and easy recipe.
